The Burnett Law Group is a virtual law office based in State College, PA. We were started by Wm. John Burnett Esq. in 2016 to help local fire fighters and their families with matters ranging from estate planning to business litigation and consulting. We have since expanded our offered services to the community as a whole. Today, we offer a variety of services to the community ranging from non-consulate immigration services, tax planning and defense, estate planning, criminal expungements, land lord tenant actions (both commercial and residential), and civil litigation.
As a virtual law office we do things different. First, gone is the need for you to gather up all of your files and take hours out of your day to come to our office. This is because we don’t have a physical office and we instead pass these savings along to you as the client. How do I communicate with my lawyers if you don’t have a physical office? We communicate with you as any law firm does, whether via email, phone, and yes, we even come to you if you need to meet in person*. However, we do most of our meeting with clients by video conferencing. We have found that the majority of our clients have smart phones, laptops, and other devices that allow for effective meeting across the internet.
Upfront pricing: At the Burnett Law Group we believe in upfront, transparent pricing. That means you as the client will routinely know how much you are going to pay before you even start your matter with us. We offer a variety of services with upfront pricing, including our non-consulate immigration services and our estate planning packages. Please be aware that we only can control our pricing. You will still be responsible for other fees, including governmental filing fees, court costs, etc.
